I am independent artist, author, educator and curator. I currently am teaching in the Masters program of Visual Arts and Curatorial Studies at the Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti, NABA, in Rome. I was a Professor at the Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm where I taught post-graduate courses from 2013 to 2019. I previously held the position of Associate Professor at Texas A&M School of Architecture (2001-2013). I completed my PhD in urban studies and Italian Fascism and Urbanism from New York University and I hold a Bachelors of Architecture from Syracuse University.
I have exhibited my artwork, ink drawings, watercolors and handmade video animations in a number of important venues, including the Virserum Konsthal, Sweden, 2023, the Austrian Pavilion at the Architecture Biennale Venice (2021), Färgfabriken Konsthall, Stockholm (2021), Gallery Studio Giardini Venice (2020). My work is also in a number of private collections, in Rome, London, Paris, Geneva, Dusseldorf, Miami, New York and elsewhere.
