folio> Plastic series

This study began in 2011, in College Station Texas. I was impressed by the number and variety plastic containers produced for the food products sold at the local Supermarket. I began to buy fruits, vegetables and deserts based not on what I thought would be healthy or even fresh, but on the architectural form and structural shape of the plastic container itself. I also documented these transparent “buildings” in a series of black and white photographs. (coming soon)
